Wall Organizer!

In attempts to become more organized with my household chores and activities, I turned to Pinterest for ideas.  There are certainly a lot of cute ideas out there, but I needed something quick, easy, and tailored to my life.  Hopefully this will give you ideas and you can make one that fits your needs!  It hangs right out side our bedroom, which is handy because I see it every morning and it reminds me of what I have going on after work.  It is super easy to keep up to date because I can write on it with dry erase markers!  I love it!

I had this picture frame that I wasn’t using anymore and was sitting on a shelf in the closet.  I took some black and white fabric that I had laying around and cut it to fit inside.  On word, I created a 1/2 sheet of paper for every day of the week with chores to accomplish and a place to write in the day’s activities.  Below is what I have written for each day:

Sunday:

  • I leave Sunday blank of chores!  Thank goodness for a day off!  But I do leave spaces if I need to fill something in

Monday:

  • Dishes
  • Counter Tops
  • Laundry
  • Clean Table Tops
  • Wash sheets
  • Grocery Shopping

Tuesday:

  • Dishes
  • Counter Tops
  • Bathroom Counters
  • Vacuum
  • Dust
  • Baseboards
  • Table Tops

Wednesday:

  • Dishes
  • Counter Tops
  • Laundry
  • Toilets
  • Showers
  • Master Bedroom

Thursday:

  • Dishes
  • Counter Tops
  • Table Tops
  • Vacuum
  • Sinks
  • Children and Guest Rooms

Friday

  • Dishes
  • Counter Tops
  • Laundry
  • Craft Room
  • Clean Hard Floors
  • Wash Rugs
  • Iron

Saturday

  • Dishes
  • Counter Tops
  • Laundry Room
  • Vacuum

Blank Sheet

  • In the last spot, I leave a blank sheet so I can write myself notes.  For example, if something is coming up for the next week that I need to plan for.  Or things that I need to pick up at the store.

Here is what my wall organizer looks like as the week progresses:

I hope you are able to make and use a wall organizer as well!  It has been helpful to me to keep up with work, the house, a wife, and most of all a mom!
